The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a ₹10 lakh reward for information leading to the arrest of Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is believed to be hiding in Canada. Anmol reportedly fled India using a fake passport last year and was recently sighted in Kenya and Canada.
The announcement follows Anmol’s alleged involvement in the murder of NCP leader and senior politician Baba Siddique, with suspicions that Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang orchestrated the killing under Anmol’s orders.
Anmol Bishnoi has been named in two NIA charge sheets related to cases from 2022 and is also wanted in connection with the high-profile murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead in May 2022.

Previously, Mumbai police issued a lookout notice against Anmol after shots were fired outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence, an incident for which he took credit on social media. According to a Mumbai court, the shooters targeted Khan with the “intention or knowledge” to kill, allegedly under Anmol’s direction, resulting in a denial of bail for an accused in the case.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the October 12 assassination of Baba Siddique, who was shot dead in Bandra East, with Anmol Bishnoi suspected as the key orchestrator of the murder.
According to the Mumbai Police Crime Branch, Siddique’s shooters had been communicating with Anmol Bishnoi via the messaging app Snapchat in the days leading up to the killing. An investigation of the arrested suspect’s Snapchat activity revealed that the shooters, along with Praveen Lonkar from Pune—another alleged mastermind—were in direct contact with Anmol, regularly deleting messages after reading them.
Reports indicate that Anmol had shared photos of Baba Siddique and his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique, with the suspects prior to the attack.
