Shraddha Murder Case: Police is now probing whether the decision to rent a flat in Chhatarpur area of Delhi a few days before the murder was part of the conspiracy to kill Shraddha. Delhi Shraddha Murder Case: The Shraddha Murder Case has shaken the entire nation. Aftab, a 28-year-old youth brutally murdered his live-in partner Shraddha and cut her body into 35 pieces. About 6 months old murder case has now been revealed. The accused has made many revelations in his confession. Apart from this, the CBI's forensic team reached Delhi's Mehrauli police station on Tuesday (November 15) to examine the fridge and other evidence. Know 10 big things related to the case. MUDER STORY LINE 1. Delhi Police on Tuesday took Aftab to the Mehrauli forest where he had allegedly dumped Shraddha's body parts. The search operation went on for three hours and at least 10 body parts were found. The victim's father, Vikas Walker, on Tuesday demanded death penalty for 28-year-old Aftab Amin Poonawalla. He also suspected the "love jihad" angle behind the incident. 2. Aftab and Shraddha met on the dating app "Bumble". At that time both were working in Mumbai. The police may ask the dating app for details of his profile to ascertain whether he had brought more women home after killing Shraddha. 3. The two often fought when Shraddha insisted on marriage, but on May 18, their fight escalated and Aftab strangulated Shraddha to death. The accused allegedly told the police that he used "sulfur hypochlorite" to clean the blood stains after cutting Shraddha's body. 4. Sources said that Aftab slept in the same room where he had cut the victim's body into pieces. He allegedly used to look at her face after keeping it in the fridge. The police also took Aftab to the shop from where he claimed to have bought tools to cut Shraddha's body. The CCTV footage of that day is no longer available, though Aftab claimed that he had bought the knife used in the crime, along with a garbage bag, from the shop. 5. Neighbors say that even five months after the murder of his live-in partner, Aftab used to come home with other women. He claims that he had seen many women going to him as recently as in October. 6. Police said that a few days after the murder, Aftab brought another woman to his apartment. He would often bring her home, while the remains of Shraddha's body were still in the house. The confession of Shraddha's murderer Aftab has also come to the fore. The accused told that even a week and a half before the murder (i.e. May 18), I had made up my mind to kill Shraddha. I also searched on the internet how and with which type of chopper the body is cut. Even that day Shraddha and I had a fight, I had made up my mind to kill her, but suddenly Shraddha became emotional and started crying and I left her. 8. The accused said that the reason for the quarrel between Shraddha and me was that I was talking to someone else on the phone, she used to doubt me, due to which she used to get very angry and start quarreling. We had a fight on May 18 as well and I killed Shraddha that day. I was scared, I knew that if I dump the body somewhere like this, I will be caught, that's why I searched the internet all night to find the whereabouts of the body. 9. Aftab confessed that I had also searched on the internet how and with what kind of chopper the body is cut. I am fond of watching crime related web series and serials, from there I learned about preserving Shraddha's dead body. I was active with his Instagram ID for how to keep him alive among family and friends. I have done this incident alone. 10. Aftab Amin Poonawalla killed Shraddha Walker on 18 May. He bought a 300-litre fridge the next day to keep the pieces of his body. The accused used to go to the forest every night at 2 o'clock to throw the body parts. This cycle went on for 18 days.
