5G Launch In India Launching a new era in technology, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G telecom services today. This 5G service will provide uninterrupted coverage, high data rate, low latency and highly reliable communication system.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G services at 10 am at the 6th edition of the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC 2022) to be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on Saturday. 5G technology promises to provide seamless coverage, high data rates, low latency and reliable communication to mobile users in India. What is 5G? 5G is the next generation mobile network capability that can facilitate the transmission of large sets of data at high speeds. 5G has low latency (the ability to process a certain amount of data with minimal latency) as compared to 3G and 4G, and will enhance the user experience in various regions. 5G has the potential to be 10 times faster than 4G. The 5G rollout is expected to lead to further developments in remote data monitoring in sectors such as mining, warehousing, telemedicine and manufacturing.
This benefit will be from 5G
- It is believed that through 5G technology, the speed of mobile internet will be 10 times higher than 4G.

The companies will initially launch 5G in some cities across the country including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune.
