The online registration process for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2025 has started at nestexam.in. Candidates can submit their applications until May 9.

NEST 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission through the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2025, candidates must meet all three criteria listed below:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024.
- Those appearing for their Class 12th final exam in 2025 are also eligible to apply.
- Minimum Marks Requirement:
- General and OBC category candidates must secure at least 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) in their Class 12th final exam from a recognized board in India.
- For SC/ST and Divyangjan (PwD) candidates, the minimum required aggregate is 55%.
- NEST 2025 Merit List:
- Candidates must secure a place in the NEST 2025 merit list to be eligible for admission.
Additional Information:
- No upper age limit exists for appearing in NEST 2025 or securing admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (CEBS), Mumbai.
NEST 2025 Application Fee
The application fee for NEST 2025 varies based on the candidate’s category:
- Female candidates (all categories): ₹700
- SC/ST/Divyangjan (PwD) candidates: ₹700
- Male/Other applicants (UR/OBC categories): ₹1,400

Scholarship Benefits
