New Delhi:Twitter has banned an account of its Indian microblogging rival Koo, which used to promote its services on the platform.
Mayank Bidawatka, co-founder of the homegrown microblogging platform, questioned the motive behind the suspension, asking Twitter CEO Elon Musk whether it meant “free speech”.
“One of the Ku Twitter handles has just been banned. Why?! Because we compete with Twitter? So? Mastodon [another rival social media platform] also got blocked today. What kind of free speech is this and what world are we living in?
