Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has announced Zomato for Enterprise (ZFE), a platform that will help companies solve the cumbersome food expense management. He said that ZFE will eliminate the hassle of reimbursements, allowing employees to bill business orders directly to their employer.

“Excited to introduce Zomato for Enterprise (ZFE), a platform designed for companies to solve food expense management. A lot of Zomato orders placed by corporate employees are business-related and need to be reimbursed by the company. The reimbursement process is cumbersome and time-consuming,” Goyal said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

“With ZFE, employees can simply bill their business orders directly to their employer, without having to pay. Companies can use ZFE to add employees, set budgets, define ordering rules and much more. ZFE adds convenience to your employees, while we take care of the rest – with complete transparency,” he added.

Zomato acquires Paytm’s event ticketing business

The announcement comes as the food delivery major completed the acquisition of Paytm’s event ticketing subsidiaries Wasteland Entertainment Private Limited (WEPL) and Orbgen Technologies Private Limited (OTPL).

As per Zomato’s exchange filing, OTPL and WEPL operate the TicketNew and Insider platforms, respectively. Paytm also confirmed that the transfer of business to Zomato was completed on August 27. The deal was valued at Rs 2,048 crore, both companies had said on August 21.

Meanwhile, pre-sale for the Zomato Feeding India Concert with DUALIPAis now live for all HSBC card holders.

Goyal also announced “an important feature update on the Zomato ticketing platform”. He said that if buyers’ plans to attend the concert change after purchasing the tickets, they can sell their purchased tickets anytime on the Zomato app

“We’ve introduced a first-of-its-kind, ‘Book Now, Sell Anytime’ feature in India to enhance customer experience and support the live ticketing industry,” he said.
