The Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 has been doing roaring business since its release over four weeks ago. Currently on its fifth week running, KGF 2 has managed to retain a hold over the audience despite new releases hitting screens. Being one of the widest releases of recent times, the film which hit over 10000 screens worldwide has been setting new box office benchmarks. Now, a day after its fifth weekend in theatres, the overall worldwide business of the film has made it past the Rs. 1200 cr. mark.
In this box office report, we look at the worldwide collections of KGF – Chapter 2 while comparing the same to previous releases. Not surprisingly, KGF 2 which has enthralled the audience has managed to rake in a staggering Rs. 1200 cr. With this, the film now ranks as the third all-time highest worldwide grosser, following behind previous releases like Dangal which collected Rs. 1968.03 cr, and Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which had collected Rs. 1500 cr. Though the business of KGF 2 doesn’t surpass these two films, it has managed to out beat other releases like, RRR which collected approximately Rs. 1132 cr, Bajrangi Bhaijaan which collected Rs. 918.18 cr, and Secret Superstar which collected Rs. 875.78 cr amongst others. source : Bollywood Hungama
