Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) is set to recruit about 4,000 assistant professor positions across 13 state universities. BSUSC has decided to issue an advertisement for all these vacant positions, following a recent directive from the Patna High Court. The Commission is also gearing up for the interview process, which is slated to commence in May, this year.
The Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) has already concluded interviews for the Psychology department and is now preparing to call candidates for interviews corresponding to the augmented seats due to backlogs. The Commission aims to declare the results following these interviews. Additionally, interviews for new subjects are set to begin in May as the commission has facilitated appointments in a dozen disciplines to date.
The recruitment drive will soon fill 4,108 vacant assistant professor posts in state universities, out of which 755 are backlog vacancies. BSUSC Commission Chairman Girish Kumar Choudhary stated that the screening process for all subjects is nearly complete at the Commission level. The next step involves initiating the interview process post-legal consultation.
Priority will be given to subjects where interviews have been conducted but results are pending. Subsequent interviews will address the increased seats under the backlog category, followed by the release of results for all positions.
