Initially, the iPhone 15‘s 128GB variant was priced at Rs 79,900, the 256GB at Rs 89,900, and the 512GB at Rs 1,09,900.
Apple launched the iPhone 15 series during the Wonderlust event in September last year, creating significant buzz and long queues at newly opened Apple stores in India. Initially, the iPhone 15’s 128GB variant was priced at Rs 79,900, the 256GB at Rs 89,900, and the 512GB at Rs 1,09,900.
Currently, Flipkart ‘s End of Reason Sale, running from June 1 to June 12, offers a significant discount on the iPhone 15. The 128GB variant is available at an 18% discount, reducing the price to Rs 64,999. Additional discounts can be availed using a Flipkart Axis Bank Card or by trading in an old smartphone in good condition.
The iPhone 15 features a 6.1-inch display and is available in five colors: pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. It retains the design of the iPhone 14 but introduces a Dynamic Island notch, previously seen in the iPhone 14 Pro models. Significant upgrades in the camera department include a 48-megapixel primary sensor, improved low-light photography, and enhanced portrait shots.
Apple promised “all-day battery life” for the iPhone 15, and recent reports indicate its battery life is double what was initially claimed. The iPhone 15 can retain 80% of its battery capacity after 1000 charging cycles, an improvement from the 500 cycles mentioned at launch.
The iPhone 15 is powered by Apple’s A16 Bionic chip, previously exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models. Another notable change is the shift to a USB Type-C charging port, marking the end of Apple’s lightning port.
Overall, the iPhone 15 offers significant enhancements in camera technology, battery life, and processing power, alongside a more universal charging solution, making it a compelling choice, especially with the current discounts available on Flipkart.
