As per the official notification, candidates interested in applying for the NLC Apprenticeship positions need to complete the online application process and submit a hard copy of the application to the General Manager of NLC India. Below are the steps for a smooth application process:

  1. Visit www.nlcindia.in.
  2. Click on the CAREERS link to access the Careers page.
  3. Select the Trainees & Apprentices tab.
  4. Click the Apply Online link for Graduate & Technician Apprentices under Advt. No. L&DC/04/2024. (The application link will be available from 10:00 AM on December 9, 2024, to 5:00 PM on December 23, 2024.)
  5. Fill out the application form and take a printout of the registration form.
  6. Sign the registration form and submit it either in person or via post to the office.

Ensure all required documents are attached before submission.

NLC Apprenticeship Eligibility Criteria 2024

To be eligible for the announced apprenticeship vacancies, candidates must have passed their qualifying exam in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024. Additionally, candidates must be from the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala, along with the union territories of Puducherry and Lakshadweep. Category 1 – Graduate Apprenticeship Training

  • Candidates must hold a full-time engineering degree in the respective discipline from a recognized university by the state or central government.
  • For nursing graduates, a BSc. Nursing degree granted by a statutory university/institution is required.

Category 2 – Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship Training

  • A diploma in engineering or technology (full-time) from a state council or Department of Technical Education established by a state government in the relevant discipline.

NLC Apprenticeship Salary 2024

The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend, which varies based on the category. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Graduate Engineering Apprentice Trainee:
    • BSc. (Nursing) candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 12,524,
    • While Rs 4,500 will be paid by the government under the DBT scheme.
  • Technician Apprentice Trainee:
    • Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 12,524,
    • Out of which Rs 4,000 will be paid by the government under the DBT scheme.

These stipends provide financial support along with benefits through the DBT scheme.
