UPSC IES/ISS 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started accepting online applications for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2023. Aspiring candidates can visit the official website – upsconline.nic.in to apply. The last date to apply online and pay the application fee is May 9, 2023.
Applicants can make corrections in their applications from May 10 to May 16, 2023. The IES/ISS Examination is scheduled to be held on June 23, 2023. This is a great opportunity for candidates who wish to work in the government sector and make a career in the fields of economics and statistics.

The Union Public Service Commission has announced a total of 51 vacancies for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2023. Out of the total, 18 vacancies are for the IES and 33 vacancies are for the ISS.
The educational qualification required for Indian Economic Service (IES) is a Masters Degree in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometric from any recognized University / College. For Indian Statistical Services (ISS), candidates should have a Graduation Degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics (from any one of the mentioned subjects) from any recognized University / College.
The application fee for Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Services (ISS) Examination 2023 is Rs. 200/- for General and OBC candidates, while SC/ST/PH/Female candidates are exempted from paying the fee. The fee can be paid online or offline.
