The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the information bulletin for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2024. The information bulletin has been released on the official website, i.e., wbjeeb.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates who will appear for the entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering/technology, pharmacy, and architecture courses can visit the official website to check the complete schedule.
As per the schedule, the WBJEE 2024 examination will be held on April 28. The board will take the examination in two sessions. Session 1 will be held from 11 am to 1 pm for Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Session 2 will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm for Paper 2(Physics and Chemistry).
EXAM PATTERN
All questions will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), with four options for each question. The Mathematics examination will have 75 questions and will be of 100 marks. The Physics and Chemistry examinations will have 40 questions each and will also be of 100 marks.
APPLICATION FEE
As per the notification, male candidates belonging to the General category have to pay Rs 500 and female candidates belonging to the General Category have to pay Rs 400 as an application fee.
On the other hand, male candidates belonging to the SC/ST/ OBC-A /OBC-B/EWS/ PwD/ TFW categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 400 and female candidates belonging to the above-mentioned categories have to pay an application fee of Rs 300.
Candidates under the Third Gender category have to pay Rs 300 as the application fee.
