ISRO Scientist/Engineer Recruitment 2025: Eligibility, Application Process, Fees, Important Dates & More

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has opened the online application process for the recruitment of 320 Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ positions across the disciplines of Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science. Interested candidates can apply from May 27, 2025, with the last date to submit applications being June 16, 2025. Detailed eligibility criteria and other important information can be found below.

This recruitment drive is open to candidates holding engineering degrees in the relevant disciplines. The advertised positions are classified as Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts under Advertisement No. ISRO:ICRB:02(EMC):2025. ISRO Scientist/Engineer Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for these positions must hold a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 on a 10-point scale.

The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years as of June 16, 2025. However, age relaxations will be applicable as per Government norms for categories such as Government employees, Ex-Servicemen, and individuals with Benchmark Disabilities.

The final selection will be based on performance in both the written examination and interview, with each stage carrying 50% weightage in the overall evaluation.

  2. Go to the “Careers” section and click on the Recruitment Notification dated 27.05.2025.
  3. Click on the application link provided in the notification.
  4. Select the relevant position and fill out the online application form with accurate details.
  5. Pay the applicable application fee and submit the form.

ISRO Scientist/Engineer Recruitment 2025: Application Fee Details

  • All applicants are initially required to pay a processing charge of ₹750.
  • For candidates exempt from the application fee (including women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen), the full ₹750 will be refunded after they appear for the written examination.
  • For all other candidates, a non-refundable application fee of ₹250 will be deducted, and ₹500 will be refunded after appearing for the test.

Please note: The refund is applicable only upon attendance in the written exam.
