Eligibility Criteria: Do You Qualify to Join Bank of Baroda?
Before applying, carefully review the eligibility requirements as of 01.07.2025. Meeting these criteria is essential—applications not meeting them will be rejected.
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline from a university/institute recognized by the Government of India.
- Holders of Integrated Dual Degrees (IDD) are also eligible.
- Professional degree holders such as Chartered Accountants (CA), Cost Accountants, Engineers, and Doctors are eligible to apply.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation (as per Government norms):
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD:
- General/EWS: 10 years
- OBC: 13 years
- SC/ST: 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
3. Work Experience (as on 01.07.2025)
- A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience is mandatory.
- Experience must be as an Officer in:
- Any Scheduled Commercial Bank
- Any Regional Rural Bank (RRB)
Note:
Experience in NBFCs, Cooperative Banks, Payment Banks, Small Finance Banks, or FinTechs is not considered valid.
Experience in clerical roles will also not be counted.
4. Language Proficiency
- Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying for—reading, writing, and speaking fluently.
- A Language Proficiency Test (LPT) will be conducted.
- Exemption: Candidates who studied the relevant local language in their 10th or 12th standard are exempted from LPT.
