CA Exam Postponement 2024: The Delhi High Court will consider the application to reschedule the May Chartered Accountants (CA) examinations. The 18th Lok Sabha general elections have prompted a significant portion of CA candidates to request that the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) move the 2024 CA Intermediate and Final exams to June.
The dates of the CA Intermediate and Final exams in 2024 have been rescheduled by the ICAI to May 2–16. The Election Commission released the general election dates for 2024, followed by the announcement of the updated schedule. As a result of their displeasure, candidates have asked the ICAI to move the exam date to June.
The rescheduled schedule keeps the same dates for the CA Foundation exams, which will take place on June 20, 22, 24, and 26.

“Some CAs are advising #castudents focus on studies. But why they didn’t approve preparation leave for these students when they knew that exams are going to be conducted in May. Now suddenly so much concerned about their studies,” advocate Anubha Shrivastava Sahai tweeted.
During the Lok Sabha elections, aspirants have emphasized the issues with transportation, electoral turmoil, rallies, and the potential for violence. Voting in the nation will take place between April 19 and June 1.
