Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh Exit Poll News Live Updates: The results of several exit polls released on Monday have predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party will return for a seventh consecutive term in Gujarat. The data shows that the saffron party is expected to win an unprecedented second term in Himachal Pradesh, though by a small margin.

The TV9 exit poll predicted the BJP to win the Gujarat Assembly elections with 125-130 seats, while the Congress is expected to get 30-40 seats. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is projected to win 3-5 seats while others will get 3-7 seats. Jan Ki Baat predicted a BJP win in Gujarat with 117 to 140 seats, while the Congress is expected to get 34 to 51 seats. Meanwhile, it predicted that AAP would win 6 to 13 seats.

The results of the assembly elections will be declared on December 8. Around 66 per cent polling was recorded in Himachal Pradesh. The BJP is hoping to set an example and return to power in the state as the Congress looks for an electoral revival. In Gujarat, the BJP is locked in a three-way fight with a weakened Congress and the new entrant – AAP.
