IDBI JAM & AAO Recruitment 2024 Notification Released, Application Window Opens Tomorrow

The Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) has announced the recruitment for 500 Junior Assistant Manager (JAM) positions and 100 Specialist-Agri Asset Officer (AAO) roles. The application window will open on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Eligible candidates interested in applying for the JAM and AAO posts can submit their applications through the official IDBI website at idbibank.in.

According to the official notification, the deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2024, and the examination is tentatively scheduled for between December 2024 and January 2025.

“The exact date of the Online Test will be announced on the Bank’s website (Career section) and in the call letter. The Bank will not respond to any individual emails or communications from candidates,” the notification stated.

Eligibility Criteria:

IDBI Bank requires candidates to present relevant documents related to their category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, work experience, physical disability, domicile certificate (if applicable), language proficiency, and other identity and eligibility proofs, both in original and photocopy.

Additionally, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes to their category/zone of choice or any other details (such as email address, contact number, etc.) after submitting the online application.

Below is the detailed eligibility criteria for the positions:

Passing only a diploma course is not considered eligible.4-year degree (B.Sc/B.Tech/B.E) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture Engineering, Fisheries Science/Engineering, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Forestry, Dairy Science/Technology, Food Science/Technology, Pisciculture, Agro Forestry, Sericulture from a University recognized/approved by the Government (e.g., AICTE, UGC).

Selection Procedure

The selection process includes the following stages: Online Test (OT), Document Verification (DV), Personal Interview (PI), and Pre-Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT).

The bank will determine the minimum qualifying marks (both sectional and aggregate) based on the number of available vacancies. Each candidate must achieve a minimum score in every section of the Online Test (OT) and a minimum total score to be eligible for shortlisting for the interview. The final cut-offs will be set by the bank, and candidates who meet the required criteria will be shortlisted for the interview stage.

Structure of Exam

The exam will consist of four sections, with an additional section for AAO candidates.

Candidates should note that there will be a penalty for incorrect answers. For each wrong answer, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.
