Sushant Singh Rajput: The Uttarakhand government will make a 'photography point' in the memory of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the lead role in the Bollywood film 'Kedarnath' in Kedarnath Dham.

Dehradun. The Uttarakhand government will make a 'Photography Point' at Kedarnath Dham in memory of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the lead role in the Bollywood film 'Kedarnath'. At the same time, the Congress has termed this move of the state government as unfair in the 'Dham of God'. By the way, the government says that devotees and tourists visiting Kedarnath, especially fans of Rajput, will be able to have their photographs taken at this 'Photography Point' named after him.
Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said in this regard that the state tourism department has been asked to prepare an action plan in this regard. He said, 'I have talked about making a photography point in Kedarnath in the name of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He made a good film (Kedarnath) here. We want us to pay tribute to him by putting his photo there.

Uttarakhand will benefit from 'Photography Point'
Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that he has instructed the department to attract Bollywood to Uttarakhand, so that good films are made here and tourism also gets a boost.

Significantly, this film starring Rajput and Sara Ali Khan came in 2018. Most of the shooting of this film has been done in Kedarnath and surrounding areas. In this film based on the Kedarnath tragedy of 2013, Rajput played the role of a kandi operator (the one who takes the pilgrim to the shrine by sitting in the kandi).

Congress attacked the state government
However, Congress General Secretary and former Chief Minister of the state Harish Rawat has termed the move to make a point in the memory of a human in the 'Dham of God' as unfair. He said, 'What is the meaning of the memento of a human in Kedarnath where Lord Shiva is seated? Where Lord Kedar is there, Lord Badrinath is there, what do you want to do by making such points?

Referring to the development schemes run in Kedarnath while his Chief Minister, Rawat said that he had made stones of the schemes and wanted to get them installed there, but he did not do so when the Shankaracharyas refused. He said that before getting those stones installed, I asked two Shankaracharyas, they said that no human stone should be installed there. After this, we got those stones of our name put in the warehouse.
Harish Rawat also said that after snowfall, Kedarnath becomes a wonderful place where there is a lot of tourism potential. The Congress leader said, 'I got my studies done in Kedarnath and came to know that there are many possibilities here, but when I contemplated, I felt that I cannot do it. It is a spiritual place and its belief has been established since years, with which we cannot play with.' Input:News18
