The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to announce the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Recruitment 2025 notification on June 5, 2025. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online via the official SSC website, www.ssc.gov.in, from June 5 to June 26, 2025.
The SSC Stenographer exam is conducted annually to recruit candidates for Group C and Group D stenographer positions across various central government departments. The selection process consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test.
Number of Vacancies
The official notification will provide the exact number of vacancies. However, approximately 2,006 vacancies are expected this year. Last year, SSC filled 2,000 vacancies through this recruitment.

- Register as a new user by entering your basic details (name, parents’ names, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID)
- Submit the registration form and note down your Registration ID
- Log in using your Registration ID, date of birth, and password
- Upload your photograph and signature according to the specifications
- Complete Part II of the application form
- Preview your filled application carefully before submitting
- Click the Final Submit button
- Pay the application fee, if applicable
- Download and print a copy of the submitted application form for future reference
